Dragonfly 25

Two trimarans made it to SAIL Magazines Boat of the Year list for 2016. The swing wing Dragonfly 25 from Quorning Boats (Best Small Cruiser) and the Pulse 600 from venerable Corsair (Best Daysailor).

The 25 is a minimalist cruising boat with the high quality we have come to expect from Quorning. She doesnt have the room for the comfortable accomodations found in her big sisters, but she is plenty comfortable for a week of camping in the Keys.

The Pulse is Corsair’s answer to the Weta phenomenon – easy to launch, easy to sail with spirited performance. We put our hands on a couple of these boats fresh off the container at The Finish Line in Stuart Florida a few weeks ago and really liked what we saw. Light, nimble and fast these boats should be a delight to sail. Reports indicate they are very quick.

Two trimarans make SAIL boat of the year – very good news indeed.
